Job Overview:
We are seeking a highly motivated and results-oriented Intern Research Associate to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing research support on investment opportunities, with a specific focus on developing investment theses. This is an excellent opportunity to gain hands-on experience in the private equity industry and contribute to the success of our firm.
Responsibilities:
- Conduct industry and company research to identify potential investment opportunities
- Develop investment theses that outline the rationale for investing in specific companies or industries
- Perform due diligence on target companies, including financial analysis, market research, and competitive analysis
- Analyze market data and trends to support investment decisions
- Track and monitor portfolio company performance
- Prepare investment presentations and other materials
- Assist with fundraising activities
- Stay abreast of industry news and developments
Qualifications:
- Currently enrolled in a Master’s program in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field
- Excellent analytical, research, and communication skills
- Proficiency in financial modeling software (e.g., Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of private equity principles and practices
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Strong work ethic and attention to detail
- Passion for the private equity industry
