2025 Undergraduate Summer Internship – Investment Marketing

Eligibility:

  • Polen Capital’s intern program is open to rising college or university seniors (graduating in December 2025 or Spring 2026)

Duration:

  • 9 weeks beginning in June 2025
  • Interns must be able to commit to the full length of the program
  • All internships are in person, paid, and include housing and travel assistance

Deadline:

  • Polen Capital will be receiving applications until October 7th, 2024
  • If you are invited to a first-round interview, it will be a one-way interview conducted on Spark Hire. More information on how to use Spark Hire will be provided in the interview invitation

As a Polen Undergraduate Summer Intern, you will:

  • Gain hands-on exposure to our asset management business, investment philosophy and process
  • Participate in leadership and skill-based training, speaker series, and firmwide events alongside full-time employees and fellow Summer Interns
  • Collaborate with team members to produce tangible results on projects that are a business imperative to the firm
  • Complete a Capstone Project and present results to the firm, in addition to supplemental team project work

Summer Interns may be considered for full-time roles post-graduation.

Investment Marketing (Boston, MA)

Team Overview

The Marketing team guides the firm’s strategic marketing initiatives, from our global brand to digital strategy. Marketing promotes the firm and its services by creating, packaging and distributing content and messaging to engage diverse audiences through digital platforms and initiatives, strategic campaigns, and events.

As an Investment Marketing Intern, you will….

  • Conduct market, client, and competitive analysis to help inform our marketing strategy, using external and internal data sources
  • Focus on how investment products are marketed and sold in different geographic markets, identifying opportunities for Polen to build our brand and penetrate new segments
  • Liaise with sales team to source ideas on how to enhance our marketing materials to better meet the needs of different audiences and stand out in a competitive landscape. Distill findings into actionable recommendations for the marketing team.
  • Perform additional competitor analysis on the media, events, and digital strategies of industry peers
  • Partner with distribution, sales enablement on capturing relevant client data that will inform our digital and personalization strategy.
  • Communicate insights and recommendations to internal stakeholders effectively, with departments such as sales and product development, to support data-driven decision making.

Required Skills:

  • Intellectual curiosity
  • Ability to collect and analyze qualitative and quantitative data
  • Self-starter who can take initiative and propose new ideas
  • Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
  • Fluency in MS Office products, especially PowerPoint
  • Coursework in Business and/or Marketing preferred
  • Data visualization and/or graphic design skills are a bonus
