Job Description: We seek a dynamic and enthusiastic Creative Writer/Journalist to become an integral part of our team. This internship offers an exciting opportunity to produce captivating scripts for student engagement beyond the traditional classroom setting, with potential exposure across our media platforms. In this role, you will be developing stories that will promote learning, and healthy decision-making and provide confidence within the students. They will collaborate with our various departments to ensure our curriculum’s overall effectiveness. Join us in making a meaningful impact on our students!
Key Responsibilities:
- Guide students in developing characters, improvising scenes, and interpreting texts to deepen their understanding of complex concepts, themes, and perspectives
- Create & practice scripts for students to learn the class topics
- Collaborate with mentors to integrate theater arts into the curriculum and enhance student engagement and learning across subject areas
Qualifications:
- Has a bubbly personality, acting, & teaching experience
- Strong storytelling skills conveying emotions, intentions, and subtext through facial expressions, body language, and voice modulation.
- Participating using various aspects of theatre production such as acting, live performance, and scripting
- Portfolio showcasing previous projects conducted as well as accomplishments
Preferred:
- Familiarity with instructional design principles and e-learning methodologies
