The Opportunity:
The Fall 2024 Web Design Internship at Lord Capital will be instrumental in supporting LordCap in its messaging and business development through creative assets. Working with leadership, the Web Design Intern will craft a recognizable brand image across the company’s website and other visualized content. The Web Design Intern will play a key role in ensuring the visual materials and web design reflect the identity and history of the firm.
Responsibilities:
- Based on briefs and copy provided, conceptualize the design needed for the deliverable
- Prepare draft materials and present concepts to management
- Amend and finalize materials after receiving feedback from the team
- Work with the LordCap team to polish copy and create a finished web asset ready for presentation to clients and partners
- Assist the team with web design and layout, ensuring materials and web look create a seamless brand image
- Test web content on various online platforms
- Ensure all design content is appropriate for the target audience and in keeping with LordCap’s branding image
Requirements:
- Current sophomore, junior, or senior year college student
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to work independently as well as with a team
- Effective communication and interpersonal skills
- Sound technical skills (Adobe Creative Suite)
- Attention to detail and aesthetic
- Knowledge of Wix platform preferable
- Interest in sustainability is a plus
