Start date: Immediate. Combination in-person (420 Nichols Rd.) and remote. We have a great office on the Plaza 10 minutes from the main UMKC campus!

We are looking for a creative and strategic Marketing Intern based in our Kansas City office to support our national team. The Marketing Intern is an integral member of the Gregory + Vine agency team: they will provide support on regional, national and global key projects and campaigns and will enable our team to be more effective and efficient.
In this role, you will provide essential support for Account Managers & Supervisors. Primary responsibilities include social media content creation support (written and design), assisting in the development of digital marketing campaigns, and supporting public relations initiatives with media research, and reporting and monitoring. Other duties include office support, sampling initiatives, event coordination, and other tasks as assigned. We will provide comprehensive training in current social media management tools, media research and reporting.
Responsibilities:
- Collaborate and assist Account Managers on social media messaging, content, calendar builds, campaigns and more in order to promote brand consistency
- Social media management including scheduling, consumer engagement, and analytics/reporting
- Assist in media research, reporting, and monitoring. This will include building media lists, researching potential media targets, identifying new media opportunities, etc.
- Other duties include office support, sampling initiatives, event coordination, and other tasks as assigned.
Essential Skills/Qualifications:
- Seeking a bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, Communications or related disciplines
- Must be 21+
- Intellectually curious and creative thinker with strong academic references
- Demonstrated knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Google Drive and digital media analytics. Adobe Creative Cloud, Email Marketing and HTML software experience, a plus.
- Excellent communicator – both written and verbal
- Detail oriented
- Creative, enthusiastic, self-starter with strong project management skills, ability to manage several concurrent activities and collaborate with others.
- Willing to multi-task and support our regional, national and global projects/campaigns
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Ability to frequently bend, push, pull and lift up to 30 lbs.
